Turquoise blue patina on copper with wire wrapping supports 2 small silver beads. The wire-wrapped piece was then riveted onto the hammered copper baseplate and attached to a hand-cut and hammered copper bail. The pendant measures , including the bail. Pendant and bail are mounted on black silicone tubing with copper and silver spacer bead accents. The silicone necklace has a stainless steel pin closure which is hidden when closed and very sturdy. This item is suitable for both men and women as a contemporary statement piece.
The patina is integrated into the copper surface, not applied as a paint and will not come off with normal wear. All copper components are non-reactive and have been sealed and finished with Renaissance wax. Requires very little maintenance, though harsh chemicals or acids should be avoided to preserve the patina. Contact me with any questions you may have if you'd like additional details.
